Ireland

Who do I think I am?

Just a little over two weeks ago I was walking along Shannon Street in midtown Limerick. I had a tuna Subway sandwich in one hand and a "Johnny Rocket" hamburger in the other.
"Yes, life is good," I thought. "Both Billie and I were looking forward for this trip to Ireland to meet my relatives and we never expected that it would be so successful."

I told you about the Spaight relatives that are livung in America, but here is a gander at who my kin is in Ireland. All of these Spaights are part of me and in some way or another made me who I am today.

Daniel Spaight (father of Michael, Patrick, Cornelius, Mary, and Daniel )
Mary Lyons Spaight & Patrick Joseph Spaight (son of Daniel and brother of Michael Spaight)
Mary Kerin Spaight (grand-daughter of Michael Spaight)

Michael Killeen King (great-grandson of Michael Spaight)

Noreen Simons (formerly Spaight), grand-daughter of Michael Spaight
Thomas King (Michael's dad), son of Mary Spaight King and grandson of Michael Spaight

Billie & Jim (Paddy) Spaight in front of the house at Derryfadda, where it all began
Flan Spaight (grandson of Michael Spaight)
